Adrian Ortiz is currently an Executive Director at Eli Lilly with a focus on Early Phase Pipeline Advancement, Innovative Route Selection, and Biocatalysis. Prior to his current role he held leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol Myers Squibb (2010-2019) and Amgen (2019-2025). He obtained a bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona (2004) and a PhD at the Scripps Research Institute (TSRI, 2009) under the guidance of Professor K.C. Nicolaou.
